Danhua Zhang's Research Focus

Development is the process of unfolding life along the axis of time. Insights on the organogenesis will provide cues for potential therapies for diseases that need regeneration of certain types of tissues. By using zebrafish as a model system, Danhua studies the development of liver and pancreas, endeavoring on defining key factors in this process.

About Danhua Zhang

Experience

Danhua recieved her B.Eng. in Biopharmaceutics from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University in Shenyang Liaoning, China (1995), a M.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology from Beijing University in Beijing, China (1999) and a M.S. in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from Iowa State University (2005). She entered the graduate prograim in 2009.
