Attila Seyhan's Research Focus

As a Faculty Scientist, Dr. Seyhan conducts Translational Research using “omics” molecular profiling technology platforms to understand pathogenesis and pathophysiology of diabetes, obesity, and metabolic origins of cardiovascular diseases with a particular interest in identifying and developing novel biomarkers, drug targets and mechanisms. These findings that closely associate with disease will help to develop better and more-precise therapies, early diagnosis and prognosis of metabolic diseases, stratify patients, and improve therapy selection.
